Travel as if Living Here

Guesthouse Santé is a 60-year-old traditional Japanese wooden house where you can enjoy a beautifully maintained pine garden from the veranda on the 1st floor and bamboo groves from the 2nd floor.

Spacious Kitchen - Ideal for Large Groups, Fishing & Seminars
Accommodating up to 10 guests with over 150㎡ of space. The full kitchen allows you to cook freshly caught fish or local delicacies.

Base for Exploring Nature & Kochi
Located in Susaki City, famous for sea fishing, and convenient for visiting Niyodo River ("Niyodo Blue"), Shikoku Karst, and Shimanto River.

Outdoor features include a covered patio area, perfect for enjoying a outdoor BBQ with cool gentle breezes.

Thank you for visiting Guesthouse Santé website. I am Yoshihiro Nishina, the host.

Santé is a 60-year-old Japanese house lovingly maintained by a local grandmother. I inherited this precious space to give it new life and welcome travelers from around the world.

Living between Tokyo and Susaki, I fell in love with Susaki's rich nature, delicious food, and warm local people. I hope you enjoy a relaxing time in this authentic local setting.

Comfortable & Private Stay
We offer a whole-house rental for you to relax without disturbance. Experience the warmth of wood, talk into the night, or explore local eateries at your own pace.

Q. Is BBQ allowed? Do we need to bring equipment?
BBQ grill equipment is provided for free. Consumables like charcoal, mesh grill, and fire starters are not provided, so please purchase them at nearby home center "Kohnan" (10 mins by car).
Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: From 16:00
Check-out: Until 10:00
We adopt a self check-in system for your privacy. Key code and entry instructions will be sent a few days prior to arrival.
Q. How many cars can park at the property?
Up to 3 standard/compact cars can park free of charge on site. Please consult us in advance if arriving with 3+ cars or large buses.
Q. Are there supermarkets or convenience stores nearby?
Within 10 minutes drive, there are large supermarket "Marunaka", FamilyMart, and Seven-Eleven convenience stores.
Q. Are seasonings and cookware provided?
Yes. Basic seasonings (soy sauce, oil, salt, pepper) are available. Pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, and full tableware/cutlery are provided.
Q. Is there a washing machine?
A washing machine in the backyard is free to use. There is also a large commercial laundromat nearby with dryers.
